About

Background & Ethos

I started my career by studying an undergraduate degree in Sustainable Development, spurred on by an inner knowing or calling that I HAD to bring about positive change in the world. Only later did I realise that passion and a qualification didn’t automatically equal a sense of direction or clear vision in life! After a few years learning some important lessons, but essentially floundering in my work life, I found my feet studying a Masters in Leadership for Sustainable Development with Forum for the Future. This was followed in quick succession with an introduction to the world of coaching with the Coaches Training Institute.

Having trained as a coach it was inevitable that I would merge my new skills with my deep passion for sustainability and create a coaching company that served change-makers and contributed to a better world. Thus in 2012 Sustainable You was born with a mission to harness human potential to create positive systemic-change in the world.

As a coach I work with leaders and change-makers across all sectors of society, from freelancers to Charity, Government to the NHS. The work we do is varied depending on the individual’s circumstances and challenges; however, I often help people to explore their own sense of leadership, create clarity and direction in their course, build resilience in their physical, mental and emotional health, and to become more grounded and empowered to make the change they dream of.

In addition to my 1-1 work, I co-facilitate residential retreats – kind and powerful spaces where purpose-driven women can take a deep inward journey and emerge with more clarity, community and courage for whatever’s next for them. I am also a founding member of the Climate Change Coaches who run training programmes for sustainability professionals and coaches where overwhelm and disempowerment are transformed into skills, possibility and action.

Personal life:

I live with my husband Liam, an arborist and all-round tree enthusiast, our daughter Reden, and dog Spot, close to the most southerly point of the country in Cornwall. We spend much of our time outside walking, drinking tea from flasks on beaches, and growing food the no-dig way.
