1 quick trick to increase your confidence in any situation

Let’s say you’ve got a presentation to give to all your bosses or the board in your organisation.

Or you’ve got an interview for a job you REALLY want.

There is always a situation in work or life that requires you to step outside your comfort zone. That calls you forth, to step up and be bold.

So wouldn’t it be great if there was also a tactic, or a cheat sheet; someway of feeling more confident and capable as you stand up in that moment?

Using posture to increase your confidence

The links between emotions (how you feel about a situation) and physiology (physical posture, stance etc) are increasingly well documented. What’s exciting about this is it offers you a quick trick that will help increase your confidence in any situation.

Over to you:

Take 20 minutes to watch this game changing Ted Talk in which Amy Cuddy explores how changing your physical state before an event like an interview has the power to alter your hormones and therefore change the outcome of any event.
